Rao S. Botta, MD, is an allergy and immunology specialist and an integral member of the team at the Asthma, Allergy, & Immunology Center, which has locations in Flint, Midland, and Owasso, Michigan. He takes great pride in assisting patients to reach new heights in health and wellness.
Dr. Botta earned his medical degree from Andhra Medical College in Visakhapatnam, India. Upon arriving in the United States, he completed an internship and residency at Hurley Medical Center – Graduate Medical Education and Research in Flint, Michigan, and fellowship training at the University of Iowa Healthcare in Iowa City.
Among Dr. Botta’s areas of expertise are treating aspirin and other medicine desensitization, as well as bullous skin disorders, a rare type of autoimmune skin disease. He enjoys working with both children and adults and finds great reward in helping those in his care set and achieve treatment goals.
A proud member of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology, Dr. Botta strives to remain on the cutting edge of advancements within his field of practice. He is currently accepting new patients and is primarily based in the Flint office, but also sees patients in the Midland and Owasso offices one day each week.
